Connect people who could use practical assistance with the neighbours, community groups and volunteers who can help. Our focus is getting the right everyday items to the right people, with care for everyone involved.
How we want to do it
Listen before acting. Review requests with people, not paperwork alone. Handle information with respect. Be upfront when we can’t help yet, and report our progress using anonymized, real programme data.
A transparent beginning
We’re still preparing our community pilot. Ummid.org is not yet a registered nonprofit, and we’re not accepting public requests or donations while we work out the right safeguards and partnerships.
